country style for a city girl

I might have grown up in what is technically termed a country area, but I'm definitely a fan of city life. However, that doesn't mean I can't enjoy country-style every now and then.

vintage shirt (Nadia's House of Serendipity)
Sportsgirl fringe vest (eBay)
handmade skirt (Gilles st Market)
vintage boots (second hand)

Bows and Bandits silk fringe scarf

Heroine Industries Gun and Star earings

Hand-painted pocket purse (Etsy)

Checkered shirt vest (Etsy)
This top is so cute! On a hot day you could pair it with some denim shorts and some fringe sandals (even though they're waaaaaay out of my price range, I like these Ralph Lauren ones).

Or, so an even easier western-style look, try putting a denim bustier or bandeau (like this denim one from Topshop) over a shirt (L-R denim shirt, distressed denim shirt, fringe shirt).
